Sacco and Vanzetti go on trial in Dedham.

The two Italian immigrants are tried before Judge Webster Thayer at Dedham Court House. They are accused of murdering a shoe company paymaster and a guard in a 1920 Braintree robbery. After a long and controversial trial, they are convicted on July 14, 1921, and executed in Boston in 1927.*
